Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the gohide application and the gohide website. By downloading or using gohide, you agree to them.

License

gohide is offered under a freemium model. The free edition may be used at no cost. gohide Pro is a one-time, perpetual license: once purchased, you may use that version indefinitely, including free updates we release for it. Pro is not a subscription and is not auto-renewed.

Your Pro license is for your own use and is activated against your machine. Please don't share license keys publicly or attempt to circumvent activation.

Acceptable use

gohide controls windows and tray icons of applications on your own computer. Use it lawfully and on systems you are authorized to manage. Don't use gohide to deceive other users of a shared computer or to conceal activity you are not permitted to perform.

Updates

We may update gohide to maintain compatibility with new Windows builds. Because Windows internals change, specific behaviors (especially tray-icon hiding on future Windows versions) may evolve over time.

Disclaimer

gohide is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from its use. You are responsible for restoring hidden apps before relying on them.
