gohide is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the gohide desktop app and the gohide website do and don't collect.

The desktop app

The gohide application contains no telemetry. It does not track how you use it, does not send analytics, and does not require an account. License activation is performed offline using a signed file verified on your own PC — no license server is contacted while you use the app.

The website

This website may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand traffic (page views and referrers). It does not sell your data or build advertising profiles.

Downloads

When you download gohide from this website, our server records the download time, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent. We use this only to measure download volume and to protect against abuse — not to build advertising profiles, and we never sell it.

Purchases

When you buy gohide Pro, payment is handled by our payment processor. They receive the information needed to complete the transaction (such as billing details). We receive confirmation that an order was paid and the email address used, so we can deliver your license key. We do not store full card numbers.

Support

If you email support, we keep your message and email address only as long as needed to help you.
